Nigel Waters has been involved with BPN since 2012, as representative of the Tomaree Ratepayers and Residents Association, which covers the eastern part of the Port Stephens, and is active in a range of environmental, Landcare and community groups, almost full time since retiring from paid employment. He has a Masters degree in City & Regional Planning and worked in that field in the UK the 1970s and 80s before a second career in information privacy, including with UK and Australian government agencies and as a self employed consultant.
Christiane Berlioz has had an active interest in planning for 20 years. As a Councillor from 2012 to 2017 she gained insight into the local government perspective, needs, limitations and obligations in planning. Conserving heritage and the environment and place-making are her focus. BPN member group is Friends of Ku-ring-gai Environment (FOKE).
